Due to the mild winter, the daffodils are already beginning to push their way into the world. It won't be very long before we get lovely colour from the rhododendrun and the lilacs and the Japanese maples and the katsura and the other sweeties that we have planted and cared for over the past dozen years.
This photo was taken late last summer after a season of particularly intense garden work. I am looking foward in 2012 to a spring and summer of some new planting, light maintenance, and simple enjoyment of the garden's beauty.
We had an early spring too. We were blessed with 2 months of April (March and April). May has turned wet but that is OK since we had a couple of dry months. Just stopping by to say hello. Hope that all is well. God bless you.
